The easiest way to create marketing flowcharts

Graphics speak louder than words, don’t they? Big thanks to my fantastic teammate Lauren Miles from our company AmpliPhi Social Media Strategies for creating this flowchart to help our team understand our marketing process.

AmpliPhi Marketing Asset Flow Chart

How can you make your own visual depiction of something complex? Refer to the saying: “If this, then that.” Start at square one and draw out the plan (we find this easier to do on paper and then transpose into a digital format.) The moment your asset goes live is the entrance of your flow chart, and the completion of the goal of your campaign is your exit point for the individual traveling through the chart.

We build these visuals using rectangles, lines, arrows, and text – and a lot of copy and pasting. No flow chart specific software was used, just the shape tool found on powerpoint/word, and text.

Have you found an effective system for depicting complex concepts in a graphical format?
